Allow me to extend a warm welcome from Adieu Roasters. My name is William Watkins and as the founder of Adieu Roasters, along side my friend Ethan, we are delighted to have you join us on our journey into the world of green coffee. From the beginning, my vision for this business was clear: to use coffee as a means to benefit people worldwide. Without our farmers and their families, there would be no coffee beans, and thus no coffee for us to enjoy. At the core of this company, we believe that small farmers deserve recognition and a platform to sell their coffee. I began my journey in coffee just over three years ago as a barista. I was unaware that coffee came from a cherry seed, and I had no knowledge of making drip coffee. However, over the past three years, I have grown and been mentored by many knowledgeable individuals. Now, I spend my days perfecting cups of coffee, creating menus and syrups, dismantling espresso machines/grinders, and continuing my journey in coffee. Just last year, I traveled to Europe for two weeks to learn the high standards of coffee roasting. While I was there, I observed the stark differences between their practices and those in America. What I learned in Europe enabled me to bring back numerous small details to enhance the overall coffee experience here in America. I am eager to share this knowledge with many other people interested in coffee. One of my goals is to visit our farms to see firsthand how the farmers work, live, cultivate their coffee, and, most importantly, benefit their community.
Sincerely, William Watkins
Adieu.

Hey Everyone!
I am so pleased to be able to meet you all, and I can't wait to build a relationship with each and every one of you! My name is Ethan Jolly, and I got my start in the coffee industry about a year and a half ago. I started when I got a job as a barista in downtown Blue Ridge. There, I learned all the tricks of the trade: latte art that impresses, excellent milk texture, and most importantly, I learned to develop my palate. This experiment taught me that the most important aspect of making an excellent beverage is starting with an excellent base. Which, in our case, is a freshly roasted coffee! I found myself wishing that I could have a stronger role in developing my drinks to their full potential, so I teamed up with my best friend, Will, and we created Adieu Roasters! This has honestly been one of the most arduous journeys that I have ever attempted. I am very fortunate to live in a community that cherishes its local businesses. Without the support of our incredible community, none of this would have been possible. At the end of the day, I simply want to provide coffee that is made in and for this community, and I want the coffee we craft to be a product held to the highest possible standard.
Anyways, thank you so much for reading, and I bid you all Adieu!
Sincerely, Ethan Jolly
